Casanova

Casanova is a one man clown show written and performed by Jonathan. The show is an anarchic, comic retelling of the myth of real-life ultimate lover and original rom com leading man, Casanova. Combining clowning, mime, and slapstick comedy the show is an hour of nonsense inspired by period drama romantic heros.

Currently in development, the show has so far been performed as a work-in-progress following a residency at the Astronef Theatre in Marseille. The show will have a residency in Paris at the Theatre de la Noue in Montreuil in January and a a performance at the Rosemary Branch in London, before heading to Australia for Fringe World Perth and Adelaide Fringe 2026.

The show is being created in collaboration with Lecoq-trained physical theatre performer Peder Skjemstad from Norway as director, and UK director, performer and improviser Caitlin Campbell as dramaturg.
