Old Man is a one-man clown show written and performed by Jonathan, directed by Oliver Nilsson and produced by Ellen Fife Productions.
The show explores the lonely life of an old man through non-verbal clowning, exploring themes of loneliness, bereavement and old age through humour.
A 20-minute performance, entitled Old Man, was staged at the Åbo Svenska Teater in Turku, Finland, in 2021. This was followed by an ongoing performance of the full show at the Prague Fringe 2023, entitled Sailing By, where the show won the Brian's Life Award for Comedy at the Prague Fringe Festival 2023 and the ‘Best of Prague off to Catania Award’, leading to performances at the Catania Off Festival in Sicily.
In 2024 the show was performed at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe at Summerhall.
