Jonathan began performing as a clown duo with his long-time collaborator Oliver Nilsson in 2022. They perform absurdist-slapstick sketches drawing on their training in clowning and physical comedy.
Their first show Jon & Ollie: Put the Kettle On was created with support from Arts Centre Hounslow and premiered at the Brighton Fringe Festival 2022. It toured Australia in 2023, where it was the winner of the Perth Now Critics' Choice Award and the Weekly Comedy Award at the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
Their second show, Jon and Ollie: Mime Club, was presented at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. The show is one of a small number of shows to have received funding from the Keep it Fringe fund for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024.
